there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand， some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful， such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand，the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend，chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.

Today is my two months and two days celebration of working in suntrans. This is my first job, and I am very glad tohave it, and to stand here sharing my feelings with all of you.
Today my topic is a little bit long, it is,the happy days of my dear little young fellows and me spent together in our companySuntrans. We had numerous happy days together, and every day is memorable. Itis so long that if I share every moment with you, this meeting may last three days or even longer. So in order to give us time to work, to eat, to go homeand to sleep, I will only share three most memorable moments we had together.
The first memorable moment for me was thecompany activity held in May by our human resources Department. We played games together and had a great time. That day was my 25th birthday, but that is not the most important reason whyI remember it so well. Firstly, I learned our company’s history, and felt thatit is very difficult to start a business, and thought that everyone in ourcompany is very hard working. Secondly, I joined Maple’s team that day,although we almost lost all of the competitions, everyone was so happy andfriendly and my team made me understood the meaning of the phrase– “team spirit”。I began to understand and like our company after that day’s activity.
The second memorable moment for me was the birthday party held in May. I never had such a birthday party before, what’s more, my birthday is the same month as our General Manager Lu, and I felt very honored and grateful. I received a lot of warm celebration words from all of you and a lovely birthday card. I was so moved that day and had the feeling that I am a part of this big family. When I blew off the candles, I made three wishes, firstly, make progress in English, secondly, make progress in Japanese,Thirdly, do my best to become a good translator in Suntrans. I hope my wisheswill come true in the future.
The third memorable moment for me was The Second Experience Exchanging Forum of Mining Investment 20xx. This is the first time I took part in such a big conference, and I was very excited and willing to do something for it. We did work very hard for this conference, and even asked the Dragon Boat Festival to contribute. This conference gave me a great workexperience and taught me many things: for example how to do advertising and marketing, and a great knowledge in mining industry. The most important is, our young fellows’team work is very brilliant, and I love our company more thanever after this conference.

Noise-making is another ancient custom at the new year. The noise isconsidered necessary to chase away the evil spirits of the old year. Peoplearound the world do different things to make a lot of noise. They may hit stickstogether. Or beat on drums. Or blow horns. Or explode fireworks.
Americans celebrate the New Year in many ways.
Most do not have to go to work or school. So they visit family and nd church services. Share a holiday meal. Or watch new years parades ontelevision. Two of the most famous parades are the Mummers Parade inPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. Bothhave existed for many years.

Pranks performed on April Fool's Day range from the simple, (such as saying, "Your shoe's untied!), to the elaborate. Setting a roommate's alarm clock back an hour is a common gag. The news media even gets involved. For instance, a British short film once shown on April Fool's Day was a fairly detailed documentary about "spaghetti farmers" and how they harvest their crop from the spaghetti trees. Whatever the prank, the trickster usually ends it by yelling to his victim, "April Fool!"
April Fool's Day is a "for-fun-only" observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their "significant other" out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. It's simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!

Bringing with expectation, I got into Zhejiang Gongshang rally speaking, it's an interesting and fantastic place for us to study andlive in. Every day a series of outgoing people get into my eyesight. Curious andout of politeness, I'd talk to them heart to heart. Here I make friends with mynew classmates from everywhere around China. What's more, time and weatherpermitting, I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on theplayground, tired but happy. When staying in dormitory, I choose to read newsonline and sometimes watch a film for relaxing. However, a good student cannever leave his study behind. When it comes to study, hard problems never upsetme, instead they arouse me. Rather than ignoring it, I'd think carefully for awhile and ask my classmates for help.

I am honored to be standing here to deliver a speech entitled “Friendship”.
The hero’s mother in the movie Forrest Gump says, “Life is a box of chocolates”. I would say that life, with friendship, true friendship particularly, is sweet as honey. It is moonlight cast on the tranquility of a lake on a mid-fall night, enchanting to the soul. It is morning dew on rose petals, pleasant and pleasing to the sense of sight. It is cosy fire on a bitterly cold winter night, warming the heart.
But as Helen Foster Snow remarks, “Friendship is no common weed that grows along the way. It’s highly cultivated and watered day by day.” Like an infant, it needs constant care; like a young tree, it can not be left to the tender mercies of severe weather. True friendship consists more in “a friend in need” to give to than “a friend in need” to take from. A true friend is a person who can be turned to, who is ready to lend a listening ear, who is willing to share feelings.
Friendship should be mutual, otherwise it will be subject to withering like plant in drought. Like genuine love, true friendship has to be a two way experience. Be it the former or the latter, if one expects to be solely on the receiving end, then s/he will be too optimistic about it: it is hoping against hope that it will last. Love or friendship of this kind is dangerous, as it is contaminated by the dark matter in human nature – selfishness.
Not infrequently does friendship need to be cared and tended, fostered and nourished, so that it will “stand at every crossroad, so good and strong and true”.

Second, headache

Third, dark circles and puffiness
Night is the time for human body to have a good rest. Without adequaterest, you will feel extremely tired, which will lead to poor blood circulationaround the eyes, causing dark circles or blood streak in the white of theeye.
Fourth, dry skin, dark spots and acne
The period between 11:00 pm to 3:00 am in the next day is the beauty time,and it is also the time for the meridians in human body to move to gall bladderand liver. If these two organs do not have adequate rest, it will be reflectedon the skin. So some problems such as roughness, yellowish face, dark spots andacne will appear. What's worse, long-term staying up late will slowly cause someneurological and psychiatric symptoms such as insomnia, forgetfulness,irritability, anxiety and so on.
Fifth, affecting fertility
For the men and women of childbearing age, if they always stay up late, itwill not only affect the motility and quantity of male sperm, but also willaffect the secretion of female hormone and the quality of ovum, and it is alsolikely to influence the menstrual cycle.
Sixth, increasing the probability of getting some chronic diseases
People who staying up all night always have higher secretion of adrenalinethan the average person, which will increase the pressure on metabolism, andthus leading to some chronic diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes.
What's more, there are also other harms caused by staying up late, such aspoor eyesight or dysfunction of the liver. We should pay special attention tothese bad effects, and try not to stay up late at night.
