美国留学怎么写申请书(精选7篇)

Hello! My name is __, and I am a senior high school student from k you for reading my self-recommendation letter in your busy schedule.

When I was young, I heard adults talk about "_", a name that was given a richassociation by me at the time. When I was young, I just thought that the namegave people a very prestigious and majestic feeling, and I longed to be a partof it someday. As I grow older, I have learned more about _: Different fromother schools, _ always maintains a rigorous academic attitude; no matter when,_ can provide students with the quietest and least disturbed Learningenvironment. _Located in Hangzhou, which is known as "paradise on earth",compared with universities in Beijing, Shanghai and other places, it has ateaching level that is not the same or even higher, but it is less hustle andquiet than them.

When I saw the school motto of "_", the touch from the bottom of my heartstrengthened my determination to "I want to be a person". _Adhere to the conceptof ideological education and professional knowledge training, and thecombination of theory and practice, and focus on cultivating students' knowledgeand innovation spirit. Therefore, to become a person, this will be a decisionthat I will never regret and be proud of.

Of course, the choice is not only due to incomparable superiority, but alsodue to one's own personality factors. I am a lively, cheerful andstraightforward girl, always full of curiosity about new things, and like toconstantly surpass myself in various challenges. I love the freehand musicflowing from the gurgling under the black and white keys, and the hearty flow ofthe clouds and water on the basketball court. So in high school, I served as theliterary committee of the class, the president of the school's music club, andthe captain of the women's basketball team. Although I am a girl, I also have anextraordinary love for computers. During the summer vacation after graduatingfrom junior high school, I went to a computer school to learn the VisualBasicprogramming language. At a very young age, I was able to master a lot more wordsthan my peers. With my language talent, I studied the first volume of universityKorean textbooks during the vacation. For me, studying is always a happy thing, because I can always experience the satisfaction of constantly enriching myselfand surpassing myself.

I am a girl who loves to play and knows how to play. But no matter howunrestrained you are when you are playing, when you learn, you will immediatelycalm down and devote yourself to the study without any distractions. Fromelementary school to high school, you have always had excellent grades and neverpartial subjects. Among all disciplines, my favorite is mathematics. I like tolook for those tiny rules between numbers, symbols, and subtitles; I like tosearch for the relationship between various parts in a variety of graphics; Ilike the feeling of facing each other when encountering a problem; I like toovercome the problem and "million" The heroic feeling of taking the first rankin the army. Although I have never studied Mathematical Olympiad, I still wonthe third prize of the "Hope Cup" Mathematics Invitational in junior high schooland the second prize of the National Mathematics League in high school.

I like the focused and pure feeling when I delve into the problem. I believethat only _ is the bright clear sky that allows the eagle of knowledge to soarfreely.

At the same time, I am also confident in my abilities. I have served as ahost in class and school activities many times; I have also been a tutor duringvacations and organized club activities on a regular basis. Steadily improveone's abilities in practice again and again.

Of course, if you want to become a person, moral character is a moreimportant aspect. My mother taught me since I was young: No matter what, we mustfirst learn to be a pure person. In my study and life, I will do my best to helpthe students around me, earnestly and responsibly do my job for the group, andactively win honors for the class in singing competitions and sports meets; whenI am at home, I will help my mother after studying. Washing and cooking, anddoing all kinds of housework; during the holidays, I will organize my classmatesto go to the orphanage to carry out voluntary activities... "Practical andinnovative" is my motto. And will stay with me throughout my life.

So I eagerly hope that one day I can wear that profound school badge on mychest, walk around the beautiful campus with my books, and solemnly say tomyself "I am a person"!

I hope you can pass my application. If my application is not passed, I willseriously find out my shortcomings and humbly correct them, and strive to get anideal result in the college entrance examination next year and enter the campusof _.

It is my conviction that the meaning of life does not dwell in the length oftime that one can live or the material abundance that one can acquire, but inthe richness and the wonderfulness of life itself. With the increase of my age, many things in my life have changed. But one thing remains constant, that is, Iwill consistently insist on doing what I like to do and hope that my endeavorscan be valuable to the life of others. I see this as the only way whereby I canrealize the value of my life.

My undergraduate study focused on economics and I achieved remarkablescholastic performance in this field. My GPA is 3.44 (my GRE score is 20__ andTOEFL—— )。 For four consecutive years of my undergraduate study, I receivedscholarships for my distinguished academic performance. Due to my equallyprominent performance in extracurricular activities I was conferred on theOutstanding Student in Campus Activities. However, honestly speaking, my realinterest lies not in economics, but in education. Ever since I was a primaryschool student, I had cherished a strong desire for a teaching careerexemplified by my teachers. In the actual teaching career that I embarked onupon my graduating from university, I have become increasingly aware that theexisting educational conditions in China are far from satisfactory. The backwardteaching methodology and the prevailing pedagogical ideology have renderedChinese education out of place with the modern international development ineducation. On the macro level, the current education theory and practice inChina lag significantly behind advanced countries in the West. For instance, though education via the internet has achieved considerable development in pasttwo years, in practical operation such education has more often than notdeteriorated into an extended form of the conventional examination-orientededucation instead of a really interactive process. In my personal experience, despite the fact that some of the problems that I have encountered in myteaching career can be solved by consulting relevant technical literature, Ihave found that the more serious flaws inherent in China's current educationalsystem cannot be worked out easily. Under such circumstances, an advancedprogram in education becomes necessary.

In this age of information, traditional education, both in its ideology andmethodology, has met unprecedented challenge like many other aspects of humanexistence. Meanwhile, the pursuit for higher levels of educational developmentand of the quality of life has largely transformed the educational valueorientation of the general public. The educational model that is centered aroundthe cognitive and intellectual instruction has been seriously ter attention has been devoted to the cultivation of well-developedpersonality and to the ontological status of the individual in education. Suchissues as the internal studies of education science, scientific decision-makingin education, and meta-education have also been increasingly emphasized e have also been innovations in educational research methodology. Thetendency has been to combine modern technology with humanistic researchcategories and with naturalistic research categories, and to organicallyintegrate qualitative descriptions with quantitative descriptions. It is alsoimportant to carry out educational experimentations in which educationalpredictions are complemented by educational feedbacks. Both the complexity ofeducation and the complexity of human individuals have made the comprehensiveapplication of diverse educational approaches necessary. Those new horizons arewhat fascinate me.

In view of the following qualifications that I have acquired, I believe thatI will acquit myself satisfactorily in the prospective Ph.D. program ineducation that I am currently endeavoring to apply for. First and foremost, asis often claimed, one's interest is one's best director. I believe that I willdo well what I am really interested in doing. Secondly, though I majored ineconomics as an undergraduate, my trainings during that stage helped developeffective modes of thinking and research approaches. In addition, Iconscientiously self-studied many works related to education, including ADevelopmental History of Educational Science in the West, which enabled me toconstruct a solid groundwork for more advanced studies in this field. Next, itcan be safely asserted that education and economics are not entirely example, it is necessary to apply many statistical methods in educationalpsychology and my academic record indicates that statistics is the subject thatI am most good at. Last but not the least, my current teaching career and myteaching experience will play a positive role in facilitating my target degreeprogram.

The reason why I apply for the University of —— is that it is the first stateuniversity with a time-honored history. The School of Education in thisuniversity is quite prominent among its counterparts in the field. I amparticularly attracted by the School's powerful pedagogical resource, vibrantintellectual atmosphere and a comprehensive curriculum. I plan to apply for adegree program in Instructional Technology or Educational Psychology, both ofwhich enjoy unparalleled academic reputation in the world. My application forInstructional Technology is motivated by my strong interest in the applicationof modern science and technology, especially the information technologyrepresented by the Internet, in the field of education and in the nature of aseries of revolutionary changes resulting thereof. Instructional Technology is anew discipline that has emerged as a result of the rapid development of moderncommunication technology since the late 20th century. It has tremendouspotential for development and commercial application. As for my motive inselecting Educational Psychology as another possible area of specialization inmy degree program, it is my long-cherished interest that primarily counts. Onthe other hand, all the accomplished educators since the 1960's have beenwell-versed in psychology. Almost every important new educational theory isderived psychological findings in one way or another so that educationalpsychology has subsequently developed into a fundamental subject for the scienceof education. The tendency in the 21st century is to emphasize on the microresearch of educational activities and against this backdrop educationalpsychology will be attached greater importance. In Instructional Technology, Iwould like to focus on the following studies: how to improve educationalefficiency by applying research results from natural sciences and engineeringtechnology; how to explore the combination and coordination of pedagogicalcontents and to improve teaching methodology by exploiting the theoreticalfindings from psychology and educational science concerning the process ofteaching and learning. In Educational Psychology, I will concentrate on appliedcognition and development, gifted and creative education, genetics and childrendevelopment, personality structure and individual differences and other relatedsubjects.

For me, to shift from economics to education and to pursue an advanced degreein the United States is not so much a challenge as an opportunity. At present, major reforms are being introduced into virtually every important aspect ofChinese society. The field of education especially calls for comprehensivereforms. The United States occupies an absolutely leading position in thepresent-day world in education. It is my conviction that, in the United States, advanced educational theories, technologies and information will facilitate meimmensely in the achievement of remarkable academic progress, fulfilling myaspiration to become an accomplished professional in the field of will not only bring my patriotic fervor into reality but also make my lifemore meaningful and rewarding.

Dear_University Leader:

Hello:

My parents were both teachers and inherited the wisdom of being a mathematicsteacher father. I have a special sensitivity to numbers, rigorous thinkingability and divergent thinking, which makes me wander in the complicatedmathematics and physics. In the ocean, I am always happy, and because of this,I, who have the same solid foundation in liberal arts, have never entered aliberal arts class; I have an innate curiosity about things that I don’t know, and I never give up on things that I don’t. It is to pursue the roots and seekthe source. I will not give up until Liu Yinhuaming. I never give up halfway. Ilearn to play table tennis. I practiced until my arm is sore and lly, I dare to compete with the boy. In order to participate in the 4_100mrelay, I go to the playground every day to "evil." "Make up" and finally won theplace for the class; I learned to play chess with my dad, and I would not admitdefeat and rather not eat; I firmly believe that people who are in Qin Muchu, change their minds, and erratic will never do anything; "Firm the green hillsand not relax", "How big is the heart?" "How big is it" is my motto.

I met many talented people in high school. While lamenting, I graduallyrealized that "God opened a small window on a heavy wall." "If you are poor, youwill be good at yourself, and if you are good, you will benefit the world."Although I am a person now, I must start with self-improvement. The sublimationof the soul that I felt on the way to "practice" is dull and I can't describe itwith a pen. I have been jealous of people who excel in competitions, and I wasso sad that I couldn't sleep when I learned that the well-conceived chemistrycompetition had failed. But when you calm down and analyze carefully, there areactually many loopholes in your own: it is easy to be preconceived when theatmosphere is tense, and when encountering difficulties, the secretion ofadrenaline will increase dramatically, which affects thinking. I worked hard toovercome them and saw the best.

I enjoy the intense and orderly high school life now, and I am also lookingforward to the days of university in the future. With my solid mathematicsskills, my attention to international political and economic forms, and my goodsense of foreign language, I will choose ##professional first. In theuniversity, I will work hard to learn my professional knowledge and activelydiscuss with my tutors and classmates. I will continue to read my favoriteliterary works to enrich my literary accomplishment. I will actively participatein the university’s cultural and artistic club activities. I can act as a jazzdrummer, as a planner and perform a role. During the four years of university, Iwill insist on being a volunteer to help those children whose families are indifficulties go to school. I will put more energy to pay attention to thedevelopment of rural education, and will do my best to bring more people to payattention to the education issues of the whole society.

With the approach of the college entrance examination, I feel that my goalsare becoming clearer and closer, and my goals are getting closer and closer tomy ideals. I am secretly determined to enter a school where I have no regrets. Iam eager for Zhejiang University to help. I went further on the road of pursuingmy ideals. I remembered the words of my alma mater, "Today I am proud of my almamater, tomorrow my alma mater will be proud of me", I choose ZhejiangUniversity, with a bit of confidence and domineering, set sail, Riding the windand waves, please give me this opportunity to prove my strength, show mypersonality, and realize my value.

Sincerely

In a highly competitive environment, the ability to create competitiveedges over one's adversaries and to achieve ultimate victory in fiercecompetitions depends not so much on materials resources as on the mental factorsof intelligence and concepts. Those concepts that can lead to new visions andperspectives and those approaches that can effectively solve problems will havethe greatest value. The overriding factor which ensures the eventualmaterialization of new concepts and gives rise to effective approaches ismanagement. As a branch of applied science, the science of management hascrucial value not only for developing countries like China which are makinguttermost efforts to catch up with the developed countries, but also for theleading multinational giants in the developed countries themselves. For a personlike me who has decided to pursue marketing management as my career objective,to sharpen my intellectual caliber, to understand the essence of management andto grasp important skills of management have become my greatest aspiration.

As a Master's student specializing in marketing and enterprise strategies,I am very proud to report that I have made some encouraging researchachievements. Of the two research papers that I wrote concerning strategicdevelopment of enterprises-Enterprise Strategic Alliance Based on ResourceComplementarity and The Strategic Orientation and Countermeasures for ChineseEnterprises in International Operations in the New Millennium, the former hasbeen published by Economic Tribune in Sept. 20__ and the latter has beenaccepted for publication by China Economists in Feb. 20__. These two researchpapers are the fruition of my active involvement in a research project namedStudy on Chinese Enterprises' Cooperation-Competition Models inHyper-Competitive Conditions, which is sponsored by China State Natural ScienceFoundation (Foundation Project No. 70140132)。 Another paper entitled BrandMarketing: A Competitive Mode on a Higher Level in Modern Economics has beenpublished by Contemporary Finance & Economics in November this year. Thoseresearch achievements can unmistakably indicate my tremendous potential toperform much more ambitious researches in my future degree program and I amdetermined to develop this potential to the fullest extent.

I completed my four-year systematic studies in Engineering and ManagementScience as an undergraduate at the School of Economics and Management, BeijingUniversity of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It is precisely this undergraduateeducation that has reinforced my determination to pursue marketing management asmy lifelong career. Although as an undergraduate my understanding of somecourses cannot be described as profound (some might even be said to be rathersuperficial), my learning of those courses nevertheless widened my ken ofknowledge and broadened my vision.

In order to further enrich myself, I availed myself of every opportunity ofacademic exchange both on campus and off campus. I shuttled among PekingUniversity, Central Finance and Economics University, and China RenminUniversity on my bicycle in order to attend lectures delivered by the country'sleading scholars and entrepreneurs. Those lectures constituted an importantsupplement to my in-class training because they were immediately connected withthe realities of Chinese society. I also benefited importantly from myextracurricular activities. As minister of the Department of Social Practices ofthe School's Students Union, I planned and organized the School's Festival ofthe Art of Management. I also canvassed Pepsi Company to sponsor ouruniversity's basketball league match. In launching those activities, I improvedmy organizational and managerial skills. In retrospection, my undergraduateprogram was most strengthened by my self-conscious attention to various appliedsubjects-higher mathematics, statistics and probability, linear algebra, operations research, etc. It can be said that my undergraduate education (inwhich my overall scholastic performance ranked top 4th in my class consisting of30 students) enabled me to make some basic preparations in theoretical knowledgeand in the application of mathematical tools.

From Sept. 1998 to April 20__, my employment with Hisense Group in QingDaoCity, Shandong Province (one of the largest manufacturers of electricalappliances in China) was a major opportunity to practice what I had learned. Thesecond year I joined the Group, the most fierce price warfare happened toChina's electrical appliances industry. Manufacturers reduced the prices oftheir products to unprecedented low levels in order to maximize their marketshare. As an act of market competition, the Marketing Department where I workedlaunched Traveling Expositions of Hisense Products. As one of the four keypersonnel of the department, I planned and organized a series of exhibitions inmost major cities in China. Our one-year efforts achieved remarkable marketeffects. In Shijiazhuan City, for instance, of a total of 30 brands, our salesof televisions and air conditioners accounted for 24% and 18% respectively in20__. In that year's performance evaluation, I was awarded the Group's ModelEmployee.

My understanding of marketing was enriched and modified by my 2-yearpractical work experience. To me, marketing was not merely composed of suchelements as product designing, promotion through advertising, pricing models, and distribution channels. It also encompassed the analysis of the behavior bothof your competitors and of consumers, studies in organization behavior, brandmanagement, and decision-makings. Believing that a more systematic educationwould contribute to a more successful career, I went back to my alma mater inSeptember 20__ and went on with a Master's program in Engineering and ManagementScience in order to gain knowledge on a higher professional level, to follow themost updated academic information, and to improve my managerial caliber.

Backed by my work experience, my academic focus became better-defined and Iwas more self-motivated in my studies. With a comprehensive coursework coveringadvanced mathematical planning, decision-making strategies, managementstatistics, and fuzzy mathematics, I achieved obvious improvement in theoreticalknowledge and in the application of tools. I developed broader perspectives andwas able to conduct my research from more advanced professional levels. Mythesis, entitled A Study of Enterprises' Strategic Alliances Based on anAnalysis of Resource Complementarity, presented a wholly novel explanation ofcorporate alliances from the perspective of resource integration, a perspectivewhich differed fundamentally from the conventional view held by most scholarswhich explained the necessity and justification of corporate alliance from theangle of transaction cost and value chain.

Instead of feeling contented with my high GPA for the Master's program(3.6), I have come to realize how much there is still for me to learn in thefield of management, especially in marketing. Most universities in China treatmarketing purely as a theoretical course, with neither case analysis noropportunities for students to practice the theories they have learned. In termsof curriculum, studies in marketing psychology and individual behavior havehardly been undertaken. Moreover, the lack of analytical tools has resulted ininsufficient analysis of the market feedback. Realizing that such deficienciescan scarcely be overcome within a short period of time, I believe that a moresuccessful career must be pursued through a Ph.D. program outside China, ideallyin a first-rate university in the United States.

With my undergraduate and graduate background in engineering and managementscience, I would like to focus on one of the following areas in your ram: a. marketing management; b. behavioral approaches to marketing orconsumer behavior; and c. channels of distribution. I have also drawn up mytentative career objective. I will complete my doctoral program by undertakingextensive researches and carrying out some specific projects. After obtaining mydegree, I will seek some teaching experiences in an American university whilecontinuing with advanced researches on the latest research topics. In this way Ican keep developing my academic aptitudes. After accumulating sufficientteaching and research experience, I will seek a teaching position in aprestigious university in China where I will share with my future students andcolleagues my research findings and the knowledge I have acquired in the UnitedStates. I hope to develop myself ultimately into a leading specialist inmarketing and management who can contribute to bringing Chinese scholarship inthis field onto a more advanced level.

CMU's Ph.D. program in computer science is heavily integrated with researchactivities and is designed to nurture people with raw talent and intellect in anenvironment which permits them thorough immersion in research and program promises to produce well-educated researchers and future leaders incomputer science. I am very excited over this wonderful vision because such aprogram offers me a basis to translate my dreams into realities. Without such aprogram, many of my dreams will remain mere fantasies.
