我做任何事情都很认真，早上起床根本不用妈妈叫，上学一直很准时，从不迟到早退，作业也很认真完成，我很节省，妈妈给我的零用钱，我一分钱也不会花，全都存到我的“小银行”(存钱罐)，等妈妈有及用的时候，我全都拿出来给妈妈。我非常爱学习，爱读书。因为一个人不学习读书就没有知识，没有知识就没有一切。妈妈说知识就是最大的财富，现在我的最大任务就是学习，努力学好各门知识，我的数学特别好，在班上都是数一数二的。我的书法很感兴趣，字也写得不错，当然还要更加努力。我很喜欢看书，书能够使我增加很多知识，开阔了我的视野，书永远是我的老师和最好的朋友。
我跟很多男孩子一样，喜欢运动，喜欢打电子游戏。特别是一打游戏就把什么事情都忘掉。记得有一次，我在打游戏，妈妈打了个电话给我说今天自己会晚一点才会回来，叫我先煮饭，我答应了。接着我又去打游戏了，打着打着就入了迷，把什么事情都忘了。一直打到妈妈回来才停了下来，妈妈问：“你的饭煮好了没有?”我才记起自己没有煮饭。害的大家都没饭吃。作文

我的名字叫陈玉鹏。你别看它听起来普通，意义可大了。鹏是鹏程万里，说明我的前途远大。
瘦是男孩们畏惧的事情，可我的身体偏偏就是瘦，所以过去有很多同学都叫我“小不点”其实我个子又小又矮，所以妈妈说我瘦得像根“黄瓜”。妈妈让我多吃饭，可我依然是每顿只吃一点点。我妈妈常说：“我还没有姥姥家的小猫咪吃得多呢?”我真后悔不听妈妈的话多吃饭，要不然能长这么矮吗?真是“一失足成千古恨”啊!
不知为什么，调皮的我爱上了读书，不过那时读得都是一些故事书，似懂非懂。后来经过老师的教育，我把课外书的兴趣又转移到课本上，也逐渐爱上作文。
虽然我酷爱文字，却无文采，喜欢读书，却过目便忘。但我从未因此而放弃，因为我坚信功夫不负有心人。除此以外我还有许多爱好，比如喜欢交朋友。虽然缺点很多，却不乏幽默感。不管在学校学习还是在家里娱乐，我常用笑话来制造欢乐的气氛。
10岁那年，我学会了练毛笔字，一年后丢弃，只因无恒心，为此自愧而“无脸见老爸。”尔后，我发奋苦读，却不时因贪玩而影响成绩。
我最大的缺点就是做事不能坚持到底。就拿攒钱来说吧，过年的压岁钱就有一百多块，加上平常的零花钱就有四十多块。好不容易攒到一百六十多块，就跑到商店买了一台MP3，剩下的钱肯定一花而光。

我很胆小。记得有一次我妈妈和我在车站接叔叔，在去的路上妈妈安顿我，见了叔叔要问好。到了车站见到叔叔，我却说不出口。妈妈连忙迎着说：“这孩子不懂事，别见怪。”还有一次，爸爸和妈妈晚上出去，让我一个人在家。爸爸妈妈走后，外边躺到床上睡觉，不知怎么了，天空好像故意和我作对，下起了雨，是我不敢睡觉。这时，外面忽然有了咕噜咕噜的声音，我心里想：妈呀，小偷来了。于是，我把身子缩在被子里，动也不敢动。过了一会儿，外面的声音停止了，我就壮着胆子出来看了看。唉原来是饮水机在作怪。我这才放心的去睡觉。又过了不久，门外突然门铃响了。哎呀，这下小偷真的来了。我躲在被窝里打哆嗦，外面传来了妈妈的声音：“快开门，我和你爸爸都淋湿了。”哦，原来是爸爸妈妈呀。打开门，我一脸苍白，满头大汗，妈妈问我怎么了?我说没事。如果告诉了他们，准会笑话我一番。

Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance

Education background In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department.
